At 5:00 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Luxor and driven south towards Aswan, a distance of approximately 280 km.

Upon arrival in Aswan, continue driving south for around 3 hours to reach Abu Simbel, where you will enjoy a full-day tour in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.

The two temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique architectural style, are considered masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the New Kingdom. To save these temples from flooding, the Egyptian government collaborated with UNESCO.

The Great Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods: Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramses II himself. It is also known as the Sun Temple of Ramses II.

The Temple of Queen Nefertari, also called the Temple of Hathor, honors the wife of the Sun God. Symbolically, the two temples unite Ramses II, Nefertari, Hathor, and the Sun God as one.

Spend approximately 3 hours exploring the temples before returning to your hotel in Aswan.
