Day Tour to Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples from Aswan

At 7:00 AM, your expert tour guide from MGO Travel Egypt will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan to enjoy a full-day tour to the Temple of Kom Ombo, perched on high ground overlooking the Nile. This temple is unique for its double design, each side dedicated to a different deity: Haroeris, with his falcon head, and Sobek, with his crocodile head. Kom Ombo was built to honor these two gods—Sobek, the crocodile-headed god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, the ancient falcon-headed Horus.

Next, you will be transferred by road to Edfu to visit the majestic Temple of Horus, considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to Egyptian mythology, this is where the falcon-headed god Horus avenged the murder of his father Osiris by defeating Seth.
