Start your day at the spectacular Giza Pyramids, home to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
Continue to the Valley Temple, where priests carried out the mummification rituals associated with King Chephren. From here, enjoy a close-up view of the magnificent Great Sphinx, the legendary monument featuring the body of a lion and the head traditionally associated with King Chephren. This is also a great opportunity to take memorable photographs beside one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks.
Continue to Saqqara, located approximately 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the famous Step Pyramid of King Djoser, one of the most important monuments in the development of ancient Egyptian pyramid architecture, representing an important stage in the evolution from the earlier mastaba tombs to the later pyramids.
Next, explore ancient Memphis, the former capital of ancient Egypt, dating back to around 3100 BC. See the impressive colossal statue of Ramses II and the magnificent Alabaster Sphinx.
After completing your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.

Continue to Coptic Cairo, one of the most historic areas of Old Cairo and an important destination for Christian heritage in Egypt. Explore the historic district around the ancient Fortress of Babylon and learn about its religious and cultural significance.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to enter and explore several important historic sites, including Abu Serga Church, St. Barbara Church, the Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Continue your Cairo experience with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the city’s most famous traditional markets. Wander through its atmospheric streets and browse a wide variety of shops selling brassware, copper items, perfumes, leather goods, silver, gold, antiques, souvenirs, and more.
At the end of the day, MGO Travel Egypt will transfer you back to your hotel in Cairo.
