Travel through the Western Desert to Siwa, a beautiful oasis famous for its natural scenery, ancient history, traditional culture, and tranquil atmosphere. During your stay, explore historic sites, visit the famous Cleopatra’s Bath, enjoy breathtaking desert landscapes, and watch the spectacular sunset over the oasis.

At 6:00 AM, your MGO Travel Egypt tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and begin your journey west toward Siwa Oasis in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.
Your first stop will be El Alamein, where you will visit the El Alamein War Museum and War Memorial. The museum features collections related to the World War II battles in the region, including uniforms, weapons, flags, photographs, and historical displays.
Continue to the El Alamein War Cemetery, the final resting place of thousands of Commonwealth and Allied servicemen who lost their lives during the North African campaign. You will also visit the German War Memorial and the Italian War Memorial.
Enjoy a light lunch during the journey before continuing toward Siwa Oasis.
Upon arrival in Siwa, head to Fatnas Island, a peaceful spot on Siwa Lake famous for its beautiful sunset views. Relax beside the lake and enjoy the spectacular scenery, with the surrounding desert mountains creating a stunning backdrop.
After sunset, continue to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation in Siwa.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 7:00 AM, your MGO Travel Egypt guide will pick you up to begin a full day of sightseeing and adventure.
Start your day with a visit to the Temple of the Oracle, also known as the Temple of Amun. The ancient site is associated with the famous oracle consulted by Alexander the Great during his visit to Siwa.
Continue to one of Siwa’s beautiful salt lakes. The high salt concentration allows visitors to float easily in the water. If you choose to swim, take care to avoid getting the salty water in your eyes and keep fresh water available for rinsing afterward.
Next, visit Cleopatra’s Bath, a natural spring also known as the Spring of the Sun. According to local legend, Cleopatra once bathed in this spring.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local Siwan restaurant, where you can taste traditional Siwan cuisine.
After lunch, head into the Great Sand Sea aboard a private 4×4 Jeep for an exciting desert adventure. Experience sandboarding on the impressive golden dunes and enjoy the unique landscapes surrounding Siwa Oasis.
Continue to Bir Waheed, a remote desert area known for its natural hot and cold springs. Relax in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy traditional Bedouin tea while watching the sunset over the desert.
After your desert adventure, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay in Siwa.

Visit Shali Fortress, the historic heart of Siwa. Built from traditional mud-brick materials and surrounded by protective walls, the fortress served as the main settlement of the oasis for centuries. Explore its narrow passages and fascinating remains while learning about traditional Siwan life.
Continue to the Mountain of the Dead (Gebel Al-Mawta), a distinctive conical mountain located near Shali. Its slopes contain ancient tombs dating from the 26th Dynasty, Ptolemaic, and Roman periods.
Among the tombs, visit the famous Si Amun Tomb, one of the most remarkable and beautifully decorated tombs in the area.
After completing your Siwa sightseeing, begin your journey back to Cairo, passing through Marsa Matrouh on Egypt’s Mediterranean North Coast.
Enjoy lunch in Marsa Matrouh before continuing the drive to Cairo.
Upon arrival in Cairo, MGO Travel Egypt will transfer you back to your hotel, concluding your 3-day Siwa Oasis adventure.
